As soon as the shipment has been passed to DHL, you will receive a free notification of the expected delivery date for your parcel.
As far as possible, you will also be informed about a time window of two to three hours.
You can move the delivery date for your parcel by up to six working days.
DHL will then attempt, within the limits of the available delivery processes, to deliver the shipment on your preferred day.
The Post Number is your customer number for the parcel notification and preferred day services. DHL needs the Post Number to inform you of the expected delivery date.
TIP: You can also use your Post Number for the Packstation service.
You do not need to register again or activate your account for this.
If you wish to receive your parcel on a day other than the notified day, you can use the preferred day service option.
Simply log in to move your delivery day by up to six days.
You can only request a preferred day by replying to our notification via SMS.
